Directions: Numerous considerations must be made when preparing to transition from college.

Will you search for employment? Where do you want to work? What jobs are you qualified for? Do you need a graduate degree? Should you apply to attend graduate school? How will you pay for graduate school? Do you need to take the GRE? Do you need research experience? Should you apply for an internship? Where should you apply for an internship? The list of questions goes on and on….

In order to prepare for your transition, it is important to consider the options available to you. Career trajectories in psychology vary greatly. Please consider the following questions, conduct research, and answer each question in a minimum of 150 words (for a total of 500-750 words). Support your responses with scholarly research using the most current APA style.

2. What professions use psychology? How does a degree in psychology complement other professions?

3. Describe your career plan. What are short and long-term goals that will help you to obtain your ideal career? (Consider the degree you must earn, experience you will need to obtain, certifications or other trainings, networking, etc.)
